Extended Stay America Sacramento Elk Grove receives mixed reviews, with some praising the friendly staff and convenient location, while others express concerns about room quality, cleanliness, and basic amenities. Recent feedback suggests improvements in staff attentiveness, but persistent issues with room conditions and the need to request supplies are apparent.
The front desk person was very nice and efficient with our check in but for $200+/ night you'd expect something a lot nicer like real beds, where one wasn't pushed up against a power plug making lights flicker and not work. This seems like a fire/electrocution hazard. There were two breakers turned off so it took us forever to figure out why the A/C unit had no power. Half the outlets in this room don't work, I plugged a small fan into one and triggered the GFCI breaker and had to reset it. The beds are like temporary cots you roll out for unexpected guests. Pretty disappointed with the cost and what this place actually is, will suffer through the next two nights and never stay here again. This could maybe be "sort of" worth it at half the cost, and that would still be a lot of money for what you get. The room had a kitchenette, but there are no dishes, cups, glasses, silverware or anything to use with it so you're on your own there. The room also developed a strange odor while we were there, maybe mold/mildew in the AC unit?
Ms. Tina very helpful respectful always always speaks. Good morning good evening good afternoon timely matter always smiling helpful good conversation. We need more women’s like this. Appreciate her truly makes a woman day and right time and right place. Thank you.
Rooms were cozy, the air conditioner doesn’t work well, and the counter didn’t have quarters for the washing/drying machine, although there is a sign that says to ask the front desk, not very many options for breakfast at this hotel.
These people are very kind. They have a great location on the inside. The rooms are really clean and the maids are very kind as well. Like if you have a technical problem, they’ll come to your room and fix whatever it is. They have a great fire detector system in here and it’s quite comfortable being in the rooms.
Definitely one of the cleaner Extended Stays I’ve spent the night at. That being said, the room smelled like cigarette smoke and febreze despite being a non-smoking room. We were also woken up at midnight by the alarm clock going off, which was a first. The fridge in our room also opened the opposite way. Just little annoyances, not enough to be upset about. If you’re used to staying at extended stay America hotels and know what to expect with the amenities this is definitely one of the better ones.
MY Experience at the Extended stay has BEEN nothing but EXCELLENT. The employees are very polite and personal and very respectful Especially Ms. Tina the swing shift Employee. I really appreciate her and the staff. They also make my stay very COMFORTABLE and very WELCOMED win I stay at the Extended Stay in Elk Grove, on Long Port Court..
The hotel looks better online and outside. The rooms are horrible. They’re no ice machines. When we got there the cable was broken to the tv. They did exchange it but the fact that it was already that way was upsetting. They don’t keep bathroom necessities in the bathrooms you have to request it. The bathrooms were in poor condition, like the bathtub etc…. To be honest this is one step up to a motel 6. The reason I got it was of course the price but it was also the closest to the family member we were visiting. Lesson learned.
Convenient location in Elk Grove, stayed here multiple times and it’s always great. Tina in the front desk is very kind and personable, goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and makes your check in process smooth. Room is decent nothing spectacular but has all you need
Location was very quiet and pleasant. Staff was wonderful. They offer complimentary breakfasts for guests who have to rush to work in the mornings. Our stay was very splendid.
We stayed at Extended Stay America – Elk Grove for almost six weeks and had a great experience overall. The staff were always friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and a good value for the price. It's a convenient option for longer stays in the area.
