Hotel is functionally ok so long as you didn't want AC while you're sleeping. If you need the room to be less than 75°, then look elsewhere because the AC will only stay on so long as you're in the room and walking around. The room will not cool down if you set a temp and then leave to give it time to cool nor will it cool while you're trying to sleep. I had to get up 3 times throughout the course of the night just to get the AC to turn on and try to cool the room down. A room where I can't get rest is not very useful.

I stayed at this hotel at least twice last month and a few other times in the past. The last two times I stayed here I was check-in was great! Tanya is wonderful! She greeted me promptly (and other guests I observed coming in). She was busy with another guest when I arrived but she friendly and politely told me that she would be right with me. Check-in was quick and Tanya gave all the details about the room, wifi, pool, breakfast, etc. Service with a smile! I appreciate that! My room was not ready when I arrived so I was upgraded to a suite! Nice room, spacious, clean with microwave, mini-frig and separate sink. There were some nicks in the furniture so it was nice but not perfect. Free breakfast is ok. Waffle makers, hot food, cereal, yogurt and fruit, etc. Parking is plentiful. The area is clean and safe. There are many good places to eat. This is my go to place when traveling along I-5!

Tanya at Hampton Inn absolutely saved the day. I was staying at a nearby hotel that didn’t have an EV charger, so I walked over hoping for help. Tanya was incredibly gracious, kind, and welcoming. Even though I wasn’t a guest, she allowed me to use their charger without hesitation. Her professionalism and generosity turned a stressful situation into a great experience. Thank you, Tanya — you made a huge difference.

I had a reservation for Thursday 5/21 through Sunday 5/24. I messaged the system on Wednesday AND Thursday letting them know I would be very late for the reservation but I would still be there. They acknowledged my message and let me know it would be fine. They still canceled my reservation and charged me for a night, while I am driving from Corona, CA to Elk Grove, CA over 400 miles. Now I am halfway to Elk Grove with no hotel room. I have no words for how pissed off I am. I am now out of 175 bucks and have nowhere to stay and am 4 hours away from home, with a wedding to attend...

Staff very welcoming and friendly. Room clean and comfortable. However, no closet or place to hang clothes except for shower rod. Found that unusual. Also not aware that beds are only made 3x /week. Not a problem, just surprising. Overall a very nice stay for 2 nights.

I don't know why this hotel has been rated with only 3.9 stars. it should be at least 4.5 for the friendly staff who treats you like family, the service responsiveness, & close proximity to the freeway, eateries, in one of the nicest neighborhoods. I especially liked talking to Rishi (gen. Mgr.) as he will take the time to hear about your day. Rosaley, the font desk clerk is always positive, respectful and very charming. She should be the "face of the property". Everytime we book this hotel, we end up extending for a few more days. it always feels like home & everybody knows your name. Cheers! Ray T. and Ana M.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful! The breakfast was pretty decent. The rooms are very spacious, but I do think it needs a deep carpet cleaning or a plug in air freshener! The room had a little bit of an odor. The room service crew did a pretty good job at changing the sheets and giving us new towels/wash cloths.

My Son and his wife stayed here three nights. They checked out on Tuesday and there were no issues. They find out days later there is an additional 450$ charge for “room repairs”. When they called on Saturday the person who answered said they didn’t see any notes or issues and to call back today (12/29/2025) and speak to the manager Kim. This manager said the closet door was shattered. They never shattered the door and the manager has yet to even provide proof. He asked for pictures and nothing has been sent. Sounds like a scam. I have stayed at Hampton Inn many times but I would avoid this one if they fraudulently bill days after check out. I advised my son to call the headquarters in Virginia. Maybe this “Kim” has a habit of ripping people off. How do we know who shattered the mirror? It could have been housekeeping. Do people need to take a video and pictures of their room when they check out because of scams like this? Update: My son and his wife, both active duty military, finally received a picture of the broken mirror. Apparently the door to the room opens all the way to the glass of the closet door. Now someone likely opened the door too far, but it was not my son. They checked out early am with their 3 year old who was asleep to hit the road home. My guess is housekeeping opened the door and the mechanism that keeps the door from opening too far was not working. Well 450$ later my son is trying to fight this at a corporate level. We found another review with the same experience. My suggestion is for you to stay at a nicer place with better management. Also take video and pictures of your room when you leave so you don’t get scammed.

We stopped at n route from Seattle to Palm Springs. The front desk staff Viviana went out of her way to help us accommodate our party near one another and even found a safe spot to store our bikes for the night. The rooms are immaculate - ice close to the rooms. And dog friendly! Thank you - will will be back!

Stayed here twice on a trip to phoenix. Got the king suite and room was EXCELLENT! Huge room, comfy bed, perfect layout with sofa and chair, huge desk, etc. Staff was amazing and kind. The night guy is slightly odd, but nice. Near fast food, right off freeway but super safe parking. Quiet too. Highly recommend!
